Actwres girl’Z were at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring for Step 64 of ACTwrestling, which saw Natsuki and Sakura Mizushima team up against Mari and MARU in the main event ahead of their title matches. Rico and Chii crossed paths once again, with the AWG Champion Marino Saihari in action against Asako, while Nagisa and ANRI took on Hinata and ACT.
This show and many others can be found in AWG’s vast archive; go to AWG Nets. It’s 1,000 yen per month with a very quick and easy sign-up process, or you can opt for the YouTube membership.
The superb 6-person tag match main event (Saihara Marino & Mizushima Sakura & Naru vs. ACT & Mari & MARU) from Step 62 is up on the official AWG YouTube channel for free here:
Rico Fukunaga vs. Chii Aoba
Great chemistry between these two, and they are both advancing at similar paces now. Aoba keeps incorporating ground work into her arsenal and Rico is becoming one of the firecrest kickers in a company that is historically known for hard kickers. Chii picked up the victory with a backdrop hold.
You can see more of Chii and Rico when they team up for the upcoming UWF/Lidet match on October 9th. Super rookie Yukina will be teaming with AWG Champion Marino against Rico and Chii Aoba on October 9th at Korakuen Hall; you can watch the action on Lidet’s official YouTube channel or see updates on X.
Erisa Nagai vs. Yukina Uehara
Two bright stars on the rise and fellow Super Human Asako Army unit members. Fun match, which saw Erisa have to dig down deep and try and overcome the onslaught of Yukina.
Both are rookies, but neither really feels like a newcomer at this point, and a new viewer would likely be unaware that Erisa has about a year’s worth of experience and Yukina only debuted last December. After a flurry of pins and counter-pins, Yukina kept Erisa rolled up for the three-count.

Marino Saihara vs. Asako Mia
This was not really a test for the champion but more of a test of her patience. Asako did have some credible moments as Marino let her guard down. What makes Asako such an enigma is that, like all the great comedy acts, underneath the silliness and bizarre antics lies a talent that understands how to have a really good match.
With comedy you have to have great timing and great instincts, to know not only what to say but when to say it. Asako does that with her wrestling moves and pacing of a match. It really helps when Marino is leading the way, as she has become a cornerstone for AWG. The champ put Asako down with a running foot stomp for the win.
Good match; Marino barely broke a sweat but definitely realized that Asako can be a threat.

ACT & Hinata Senya vs. ANRI & Nagisa Shiotsuki
ANRI and ACT have close ties (in Kaguya and in real life) so this was a special match for both of them. Hinata hasn’t been around a lot lately but is still improving; that’s good to see. Nagisa has been fired up as of late with her King title shot over the summer and the Mid Summer Breeze upcoming tag title challenge in October.
ACT had a moment near the end where she was struggling to stand (perhaps a hip pointer) but toughed it out; her entire career and life have been her powering through adversity. It’s one of the reasons she is so beloved by fans and the entire roster. ANRI, with so many kick variants and lightning-fast combinations, is really close to making another leap forward. Nagisa lit up ACT with her signature chops and looked like a strong contender for the belts. Nagisa got the win with her version of Blue Thunder Bomb. Hard-hitting action and a solid preview for next month.

Mari & MARU vs. Natsuki & Sakura Mizushima
Fantastic build for two separate title matches. This was classic AWG unit warfare and another match to point to for new fans.
Natsuki is the Ace and for good reason: she has impeccable timing and is as good as it gets in the ring. Mizushima is nearly there herself, and this feud with MARU could do wonders for her, maybe pulling a mean streak that’ll add a dimension to her character. Mari is fantastic and was a great bully here, terrorizing the babyfaces and using her strength to dominate. MARU never disappoints when she is in a blood feud, and that’s what she did here. She took Mizushima all over the outside, using her chain to relentlessly and violently attack the King of Entertainment.
Maru even tormented the good guys by ringing a bell in their ears. Mizushima found out how tough this match in October will be when MARU kicked out of the Blossom Arch Hold at 2.9. With a chain around Mizushima’s throat, Mari hit the crucifix bomb, followed by MARU’s double foot stomp off the top rope, and MARU pinned the King in the main event. The Killer’Z will win by any means necessary and are often more concerned with destroying their opponents. They aren’t even afraid to get disqualified, as seen at Step 63, to get the job done.
The Killer’Z celebrated their ill-gotten victory to close the show. Really good match and a nice build towards the next big card.
