The big summer run for Actwres girl’Z culminated at Korakuen Hall on August 13 with one of the most significant shows in company history as they celebrated their 10th anniversary. The finals of ACT Game decided who the inaugural tag champions would be; STARDOM’s Natsupoi and Saori Anou returned to their roots and wrestled in an AWG ring once again, Mizushima took on Nagisa for the King of Entertainment, and Polaris☆ had a chance to shine brightly.
This show and many others can be found in AWG’s vast archive; go to AWG Nets. It’s 1,000 yen per month with a very quick and easy sign-up process, or you can opt for the YouTube membership.
For those new to the company here is a short video introducing the entire roster:
The opening dance was at full capacity as the AWG roster (in new attire) was joined by members of Mizuka Arai’s group BE-STYLE ENTERTAINMENT and filled the entire ring and floor area.
Naru & Yui Tensho vs. Asako Mia & Chii Aoba
Asako’s army faced off against Actress5 in a fun opener, Chii showed off new skills, Asako was always chaotic, Naru had moments to shine, and Yui made the most of her time with her larger-than-life personality. Yui would be a bigger component in AWG if her schedule allowed it; having said that, she leaves a strong impression even in the limited appearances she’s had.
Yui grabs the three-count after an Ax Bomber. In the post-match, she and Naru had a disagreement, which led to Yui dropping Naru with the Ax Bomber. A nice match, and it’s good that the undercard is being kept busy with storylines instead of just matches; some of the younger roster members are ready to have character development.
Chii recently participated in the Lidet/GLEAT show on August 9th in a match held under UWF rules; Rico submitted Chii via an armbar. Marino defeated Yukina with a crossface chicken wing facelock. You can watch the action on the official GLEAT YouTube channel or see updates on X.

KYANREN & MARU vs. Hinata Senya & Nanami Togi vs. Rio & Toiro Hina
A three-way match and a fun end of an chapter for KYAREN, who may be focusing on non-in-ring action going forward. MARU was in top form as the other four got opportunities to gain confidence and footing on their respective journeys. Togi especially is finding her groove as a mischievous heel; Rio has the raw power and just needs some more ring time to get the pieces aligned. Toiro and Hinata are still works in progress, and it will be interesting to see what direction each character takes as the year finishes out.
Rio gets the biggest victory of her career with a sit-out powerbomb.
Kyoka Iwai vs. Haruka Ishikawa
Kyoka Iwai and Haruka Ishikawa are a formidable tag team who also serve as solid rivals. A nice way for both to have something of substance on such a loaded show. Neither let the fact they are usually teammates affect their attack plan; in fact, they seemed to be hitting each other slightly harder than they would other opponents. Just mean straight-ahead wrestling from start to finish.
A spinning tombstone variant from Kyoka gets her the pinfall victory. Ishikawa kicked out at about 3.2, and the two teammates celebrated the war they just had.

Ayano Irie & Nene Arahata vs. Anri & Erisa Nagai
An important match for Polaris☆, who made a big leap forward against BE∀STZ REBELLION. Ayano and Nene are two seasoned pros and made for a good obstacle for Polaris☆ to overcome. The type of match next year people will point to as the highlight of their young careers; it was perfectly placed to close out the first half of this show.
They are not quite there yet, but ANRI and Erisa have future babyface championship runs on the horizon. Nene appeared to have the match won with her delayed brainbuster, but Erisa made the save. Anri hit the 10,000 Volts and then a lucha-style rollup for the flash pin, a slight upset but well earned nonetheless.
AWG members performed alongside Princess Tenko’s Princess Girls; Tenko sent in a video as she was unable to attend.

Sakura Mizushima vs. Nagisa Shiotsuki AWG KING of Ring Entertainment Title Match
A title bout with a lot of history and special meaning to the competitors. Mizushima and Nagisa go way back in ACTwrestling, having been in Update+ together as well as at one time both members of the coelacanth acting group with a YouTube channel. In their nearly four years on the roster, they have had only one singles match at Step 12 in 2022. As is often the case in life, their paths diverged, with Nagisa now in Mid Summer Seabreeze and Mizushima now in the Actress5 unit and the current King of Entertainment.
The emotion was not just in their paths crossing again but in Nagisa needing to test herself against Mizushima, who had surpassed her. The fact of the matter is Mizushima has surpassed most of the roster, and there is no shame in having to try and catch up to someone with such a meteoric rise. Nagisa attacked with everything in her arsenal, but on this day it wasn’t enough; the ever-tenacious Mizushima powered up and nailed the 3 Blossom Arch Hold for her fourth title defense. A highly recommended match that is best experienced by viewing it.
Natsupoi & Saori Anou vs. Natsuki & Yukina Uehara
The match was contested as an orthodox pro wrestling match and not under the AWG points system. A subtle difference, which, honestly, to a new fan may not even feel different.
AgZ originals Tae Honma and Maika Ozaki were the seconds for Poi and Anou. Natsuki and Yukina perfectly encapsulate the ethos and potential of the ACTwrestling system. Natsuki is the Ace and someone who has been leaned upon for the past year and a half; Yukina is the phenomenon. To a new fan, her aptitude might be shocking, but it is commonplace in AWG. Case in point, see the returning Natsupoi and Anou, both of whom in 2015 made incredible strides over the handful of Shinkiba shows that comprised season 1 of AgZ. Poi (then known as Natsumi Maki) was fully formed a few shows in with her magic bucket of candy and got the fans to chant “Poi.” Anou began as a fun-loving partner to Yuna Manase before quickly morphing into the main-eventer with her now trademark ice-cold demeanor.

This match is a perfect celebration of its 10 years of existence, as two of joshi’s biggest stars returned home and faced off against two of the modern era cornerstones. Everything you would want for a big tag bout: the spectacular moves and split-second saves, and Natsuki shined so bright against two of the top wrestlers of 2025. Yukina having such a large showcase less than a year in is almost expected from her at this point; many people would find “super rookie” an albatross, something that would be too hard to live up to, but Yukina is making good on those promises.
A one-two punch of a fisherman’s suplex from Anou followed by Poi hitting Fairial Gift kept Natsuki down for the three-count. Afterwards, Tae Honma and Maika Ozaki entered and announced that SPiCEAP would like to return in October prior to Tae’s retirement on October 13th.

ACT & Mari vs. Marino Saihara & Rico Fukunaga AWG Tag Team Title / ACT Game Final Point Tag Team Match
A masterful performance from all four and the perfect way to end the ACT Game tournament. ACT debuted new gear, and it was an inverse of her usual attire; the entrance outfit is now very samurai-themed, while her wrestling gear has a softer feminine motif. Mari’s ninja-themed gear is a good match to the samurai and makes Amaterasu look like warriors. Marino continued to evolve as the AWG Champion, and she also had new attire, a very sharp red and gold that complements Rico’s blues and whites.
Marino and her rolling German suplexes are a sight to see and quite different from the standard AWG move set, another marker that she is a special talent amongst the crew. Rico has once again been placed in a prominent position, and along with her Lidet/UWF involvement, she is quickly becoming a key player in AWG. Mari was bringing the hard kicks as Amaterasu’s experience proved to be the deciding factor as they got the hard-fought pinfall. Marino refused to go down and initially blocked Mari, but ACT intervened, allowing for the Buzzsaw Kick to land, and Marino went down for the pinfall.
A milestone show for the company and the entire crew, SPiCEAP returning in October continues the theme of feel-good reunions. The younger generation got a lot of new eyes on them via the Poi/Anou involvement. Polaris☆, Yui, and Rico are setting themselves up for bigger things as we move towards 2026. Until then, veterans like Amaterasu and babyfaces such as Marino, Natsuki, Mizushima, and Yukina will keep leading the way for the next chapter in AWG. A strong way to honor its 10 years of existence.
