I know I’m a bit late when it comes to releasing this, but I’ve been cooking up some great content in the background over the past month here at RESURA that you’ll get to see come to fruition in August, but for now it’s time to give you the monthly update on our joshi pro wrestling fantasy league featuring some of the biggest names in joshi puroesu content creation.

The month of June wasn’t the biggest month in joshi, but it mainly served as a bit of a building block for the upcoming tournament season that three of the biggest joshi companies are heading towards, while also including a lot of WAVE’s annual “Catch The Wave” tournament that involves a lot of wrestlers, and normally some wacky results.

June also serves as a half way point for the year, meaning that we are half way done with our season of the joshi fantasy league. With that being the case, I’ll be giving you a breakdown of some of the interesting totals for the league so far, which will allow you to see which wrestlers have scored the most points in the league, or have won the most of a certain match type. We’ll drop all of that info after we cover each of the teams as usual, so hopefully that’s something you’ll enjoy taking a look at.

This month was definitely a good one for independent wrestlers on the scene as the highest points scored by a STARDOM regular or a Marigold regular was 18 points, which was good enough for 14th and 15th place respectively. There were a couple of wrestlers who made appearances in those companies but they aren’t signed full time with them.

Once again we had a wrestler top the monthly point chart with 39 points, with it being Makoto this time around. The long time veteran had a very impressive month, scoring SEAdLINNNG’s “Beyond The Sea” championship among countless other wins. Coming in second place was the only other wrestler to score over 30 points: Takumi Iroha. Iroha enjoyed being quite busy this month, working in her home promotion Marvelous, along with Marigold and even picking up a title in NOAH during their “Wrestle Magic” show. The overall points leader in the entire league for the first six months came in third place for this month which was Kaori Yoneyama scoring an impressive 29 points. The ageless wonder continues to impress this year wrestling a ton of matches, and picking up a lot of victories.

In terms of teams, once again the “Outlet Wolfpack” was able to grow their lead over the rest of the league by scoring the most points with an impressive 182. While it’s a bit surprising to not see a team score over 200 points for the first time since February, it’s possible that there just weren’t as many shows as there had been the past few months.

The team who finished not too far behind was “Rebel X Run” who scored 175 which is a very strong total for Xavi’s team who had been bouncing between spots in the middle of the pack until now. Obviously having Makoto score the most points in the league for the month helped, but Xavi also got quite a few points from Misa Kagura as well which no doubt helped the team make up ground on the teams ahead.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there were two teams who were trailing behind the others the most, “Casa Royale” and “Fart Editing” who only scored 121 and 120 respectively. It’s been a rough year for “Fart Editing” overall as they have found themselves down in last place for just about the entire time, and unfortunately unless they are able to make a great trade or pick up a couple of hot free agents, it’s going to tough sledding for them to catch any of the teams above them.

“Casa Royale” has also been struggling this year, but definitely not to the same level as the other team. Over the past four months, “Casa Royale” has scored enough points to be in the middle of the pack, but they then follow it with a month towards the bottom, which has slowly made them fall down the overall standing for the year as well. They need better consistency if they are going to make any ground on the teams ahead.

With all of that said, let’s take a look at the current overall team standings for the year…

TEAM STANDINGS

Outlet Wolfpack – 1096 Points (1st)

Oedo Tai – 1022 Points (3rd)

Mad Dog Military – 1021 Points (2nd)

The Icon & Friends – 946 Points (4th)

TCS 4 Life – 942 Points (5th)

Rebel X Run – 921 Points (6th)

God’s Sigh – 850 Points (8th)

Alex’s Warbitches – 850 Points (9th)

Casa Royale – 841 Points (7th)

Fart Editing – 774 Points (10th)

You know, it’s kind of funny that this month turned out a lot like last month in terms of which teams moved up and which teams moved backwards. For the second month in a row, the second and third place teams switched positions, along with eighth and ninth moving up one spot while seventh place moved down twice back to ninth.

The dominance continues for the “Outlet Wolfpack” as they continue to stand on top of the overall standings. Their 74 point lead is a big one, but not one that is insurmountable for the two teams trailing them. There’s then a bit of a log jam between fourth, fifth and sixth place who are all within 25 points of each other, making those match ups extra interesting as this month goes on. The same can be said about seventh through ninth as they all find themselves within nine points of each other. All of that means that you could see quite a bit of movement by the time July’s edition of the fantasy league update is released.

Next, let’s take a look which wrestlers won the most singles matches in the month of June. There was no tie at the top as Miyu Yamashita sat on the proverbial throne earning five singles match wins as she continues her little excursion to the United States. Coming in second place was none other than YUU who scored 4 single match wins and will be retiring at the end of the year, but is making the most of her time as an active wrestler by racking up those wins in the squared circle.

When we switch to tag team match wins, there was a five way tie at the top with Tomoka Inaba, Natsuko Tora, Ruaka, YUU, and Miyuki Takase who all won seven tag team matches during the month of June. The team of Natsuko Tora and Ruaka have been heating up in STARDOM on their way to a Goddesses of Stardom championship match coming soon, and both YUU, along with Miyuki Takase recently joined Sendai Girls full time, while continuing to be main stays in the tag team division all over the scene.

With tournament season coming up for STARDOM, Marigold and TJPW over the next month or two, there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing quite a bit of movement points wise in the standings since singles match wins earn a wrestler three points in comparison to them winning a lot of tag matches that only scores them two points each time. For instance if a wrestler were to win every match in their block in the 5 Star Grand Prix like Maika did last year, she’d score 21 points and that’s even before the “playoff” matches at the end. There could be some big winners and big losers because of the lack of tag team matches in the big companies, so stay tuned to see the fall out. As for now, let’s take a look at each of the teams like we do each month.

POSITION: 1st | TOTAL POINTS: 1096 | JUNE POINTS: 182

Pedro’s team once again had a great month, scoring the most monthly points in the league, and also being the first team to eclipse the 1000 point mark. Hell, they almost made it over the 1100 point mark before the end of the month. There’s really not a lot that Pedro can complain about when it comes to his team, as he’s continued to get good point throughout his line up month after month, and it doesn’t look as if his team will be slowing down anytime soon either.

This month Pedro had the wrestler with the second most points in the entire league Takumi Iroha with 32 points, who has been putting together quite a strong year with her appearances in quite a few different promotions. Usually if she only works the Marvelous shows, she simply doesn’t work enough to really rack up the points, but with her being more active, it has allowed her to be a bit of a final boss all throughout the scene. Saya Iida and Tomoka Inaba both scored 15 points or more which was good enough for second and third on the team for the month, which is the kind of dependable scoring you need to find yourself at the top of the standings.

Pedro had three wrestlers score single digit points for the month, with one of them surprisingly being the Marigold World champion Utami Hayashishita who only scored six points. That’s obviously way lower than expected for a wrestler of her stature. That being said, only having three wrestlers on your roster scoring under ten points is quite a feat, which is another reason why the “Outlet Wolfpack” finds themselves on top of the charts.

Pedro still doesn’t have a wrestler on his roster that has scored more than 100 points for the year, but he has one of the most balanced scoring attacks in the entire league which a lot of teams would probably kill for at a time like this. His highest point scorer Suzume is tied for 18th place in the league in overall season points, which shows how important that balanced scoring attack has been thus far for the team.

CURRENT POINTS

Suzume – 94 Points (11)

While my team only scored the 4th most points in the month overall, it was enough to be able to pass the team who had taken second place from me last month the “Mad Dog Military.” “Oedo Tai” has done enough to stay in the thick of things, but I’ll need a strong month of July to try to reel in first place.

Leading the way for the month was Miyuki Takase who scored 20 points, which is no doubt helped by how active she is within multiple joshi promotions. Being one half of the Sendai Girls Tag Team champions also doesn’t hurt. Coming in second was the only other wrestler who scored 15 points or more, which was Rina Yamashita who scored 19 points respectively. Rina Yamashita has been one of the best point scorers in the league all year so far, and this month was no different.

Other than the wrestler I have in my inactive/ injured reserve spot Tam Nakano, I ended up having six wrestlers score single digit points this month. It wasn’t the type of output I was looking for, but it definitely could have been worse. Two of my young ass kickers Kiyoka Kotatsu and Shinno both had a pretty inactive month, with each of them only scoring two points a piece. I also didn’t get much from the TJPW tandem of Arisu Endo and Hyper Misao which is rather unfortunate.

While I do have three wrestlers who have scored over 100 points on my team, I need some better depth scoring by the wrestlers down towards the bottom of my line up. I made a bit of a gamble on picking up Shinno right after her debut match since she’s a total demon, but she may not end up working enough matches to really score me many points even if she’s kept pretty strong. I also need more out of my freelancers Ram Kaicho and Natsu Sumire, who have both underperformed this year points wise in my opinion.

CURRENT POINTS

Rina Yamashita – 125 Points (19)

Saya Kamitani – 122 Points (12)

Hazuki – 106 Points (14)

Miyuki Takase – 96 Points (20)

Nanami Hatano – 74 Points (11)

Hyper Misao – 73 Points (5)

Maika Ozaki – 69 Points (5)

Kaho Kobayashi – 65 Points (11)

Momoka Hanazono – 55 Points (14)

Arisu Endo – 32 Points (8)

After having an amazing month of May, the month of June wasn’t as kind to Dylan and his team as they found themselves scoring 140 points, which was only good enough for eighth place, a big drop from topping the charts last month, that’s for sure. Even with that said, he still had a couple of heavy hitters on the team, but was unfortunately followed by ten wrestlers who weren’t able to score ten or more points. It truly shows the big time boom and bust possibilities for a team like that.

I might be a broken record by now, but once again the “Mad Dog Military” was lead by the ageless wonder Kaori Yoneyama, who lead the way with nearly 30 points scored, good enough for third in the league overall in the month of June. Trailing shortly behind was none other than Kohaku who had a strong month, scoring 22 points in her own right. While Kohaku hadn’t been bad this year thus far, it was definitely quite nice to see a wrestler as talented as her rack up that many points in the month.

Like I mentioned above, there were a total of ten wrestlers who scored less than ten points this month includes names such as Starlight Kid, MIRAI, Saori Anou and AZM to name a few. Three of those four wrestlers are in the top four in scoring for the team this year, which shows that you’d expect much more out of them in a given month. Dylan will have to hope that this is simply a blip, and not a possible trend going forward, the plus side is that he’s guaranteed to get a few extra points from Starlight Kid either defending her title, or Saori Anou beating her for it coming up later this month.

Six months into the season Kaori Yoneyama is currently running away with the lead in points scoring a total of 161, which puts her on pace for over 300 points by the end of the year. The team has also gotten great contributions from the Neo Genesis duo of Starlight Kid and AZM who have both scored over 100 points for the year, but neither added too much to those point totals in the month of June. If Dylan can get some good contributions farther down the line up, he’ll be able to once again make a big leap towards the top of the table.

CURRENT POINTS

Kaori Yoneyama – 161 Points (29)

Starlight Kid – 128 Points (8)

AZM– 111 Points (4)

Saori Anou – 95 Points (6)

Itsuki Aoki – 68 Points (13)

Kohaku – 67 Points (22)

Mei Seira – 66 Points (6)

Ruaka – 63 Points (14)

MIRAI – 56 Points (8)

CHIAKI – 51 Points (10)

Sakura Hirota – 40 Points (3)

Hiroyo Matsumoto – 35 Points (3)

Hiragi Kurumi – 33 Points (4)

Kizuna Tanaka – 30 Points (8)

Chikayo Nagashima – 15 Points (2)

Maya Yukihi – 3 Points (0) – Injured Reserve

Scott’s team once again didn’t have a very impressive month, but they also weren’t down at the very bottom, so once again they found themselves sort of in the middle of the road in the league. The “Icon & Friends” team needs a big month so that they can catch the teams ahead of them, because right now they are instead being caught by the teams behind them. It’s completely possible that Scott could see his team falling down to sixth place by the end of July, so hopefully for his sake, his team really gets going again.

This month, Scott had two wrestlers score above the fifteen point mark, but they didn’t score a ton as both of them tied at the top with 18 a piece. Who were those wrestlers you may ask? Of course one of them had to be his first round pick Mayu Iwatani and the other is Hanan who currently sits third place on the team in overall points for the year, meaning that he was pulled along by two of his strongest wrestlers. Scott also had a total of seven wrestlers score between 15 and 10 points, which is pretty good mid tier scoring.

Scott had 6 wrestlers who scored in single digits for the month, but one was somewhat excused since Natsumi Showzuki is now on hiatus for her injury. Still though, there’s no doubt that he had to expect a bit more from a wrestler who had been very good for him this year Miyu Amasaki who only racked up eight points in the month of June. There’s no doubt he would have also liked a bit more output from the likes of Maki Itoh and Suzu Suzuki as well.

Mayu Iwatani has put together a couple of strong months ever since joining Marigold, and I don’t see that stopping anytime soon. While Miyu Amasaki may not have had a great month, but she still leads the way for the team in overall points this year, and she’s still the only member of the roster who has scored more than 100 points so far. There’s a lot of youth towards the top on Scott’s team, so hopefully they can all surged forward together to score him a lot of points going forward.

CURRENT POINTS

Miyu Amasaki – 111 Points (8)

Mayu Iwatani – 105 Points (18)

Dave’s team is holding steady in their fifth position in the league, even though they now have sixth place “Rebel x Run” hot on their heels. At the start of the year, Dave’s team would have been looked at as an interesting choice when it comes to the picks they made, but a lot of the freelance talent that he picked up has really made a difference for him.

This month, “TCS 4 Life” had four wrestlers who scored 15 or more points which is honestly quite a good amount all thing considered. The leader of the bunch was Sumika Yanagawa who scored 25 points this month on the back of picking up the JTO Girls Tag Team championship with her partner Misa Kagura. Sumika also recently announced, along with Misa, that she will be leaving JTO as a roster member at least, and going freelance instead. That might give her even more opportunities, even though she’s already been pretty active outside of JTO over the past year or two. Coming in second place on the team was a fellow JTO wrestler Azusa Inaba who’s been putting together a really great year even before hitting the age of 18.

There were eight wrestlers who scored under ten points this month, with some notable names being Unagi Sayaka, Kakeru Sekiguchi and Nagisa Nozaki to name a few. Normally Dave has been able to count on all three of those wrestlers to gain a fair number of points each month from being very active in many different companies, but this month must have been a slow one, or they simply weren’t winning like they should.

Azusa Inaba has been the big star for Dave this year so far, leading the way in overall points for the team with 111. Her star continues to grow as the wrestles more matches, but instead of losing a lot of the matches like most wrestlers under the age of 18, she’s been picking up a lot of wins instead. Both Kakeru Sekiguchi and VENY have had a strong year thus far but neither have eclipsed the 100 point mark yet with Kakeru sitting at 97 points and VENY at 86 respectively. “TCS 4 Life’s” scoring pace is quite good, but it needs to be quite a bit better if they are going to make up ground on first through third place in the league.

CURRENT POINTS

Azusa Inaba – 111 Points (21)

Kakeru Sekiguchi – 97 Points (5)

VENY – 86 Points (15)

Sumika Yanagawa – 76 Points (25)

One of the biggest movers in the league in terms of gaining points on teams ahead of them was “Rebel X Run” who finished in second place for the month in team points with 175. The team make-up of Xavi’s team is honestly quite well rounded if everyone had been healthy this entire time, but unfortunately for a lot of the year he’s been missing a wrestler or two who couldn’t take the injured reserve spot since he already had someone there filling it. With Mio Momono coming back this month, that should give the team a shot in the arm to continue running down the teams in front of them. There’s obviously a long ways to go when it comes to catching the top three teams, but there’s still six months left to get those points.

This month Xavi had not only the highest point scorer in the league in Makoto who scored 39, but also the fourth best point scorer in the league in Misa Kagura who put up a very impressive 27 points. Xavi also had four more wrestlers score 15 or more points on the team this month: SAKI, Aya Sakura, Yuna Manase, and AKARI. Those four aren’t the biggest names on the scene, but they all had pretty good months nonetheless.

Not everything was sunshine and rainbows for Xavi’s team though, because “Rebel X Run” was also the only team who had four wrestlers score zero points a piece in the month of June. One of those was somewhat excused as Mio Momono was on injured reserve, but unfortunately for him, he had two other wrestlers dealing with injuries, Hanako Nakamori and Tsukina Umino, along with one wrestler who just didn’t wrestle much in Riara. If Xavi was able to get even two of those wrestlers to score around ten points each, his team would have easily scored the most in the league for the month of June. Hopefully for his sake, it won’t be as feast or famine this month.

“Rebel X Run” is the only team in the league with four wrestlers who have made it over the 100 point mark at this point of time, which shows just how top heavy their roster is at the moment since they are only in sixth place as a team. Makoto is leading the way for the season with 137 points, followed by SAKI with 122 points. The other two wrestlers who have eclipsed 100 points are Mai Sakurai and Misa Kagura who have scored 119 and 108 respectively. If Xavi can start to get some of his depth pieces to pick up points, his team could be quite dangerous!

CURRENT POINTS

Makoto – 137 Points (39)

SAKI – 122 Points (17)

Mai Sakurai – 119 Points (13)

Misa Kagura – 108 Points (27)

It’s been a bit of a rough go for Ryan and his team this year as he drafted a pretty stout team, but has lost quite a few wrestlers to injury or hiatus. Losing the wrestler who scored the most points in last seasons simulation Maika so early in the year definitely was a gut punch, while also watching his first pick overall Sareee do a whole lot of nothing during the first few months of the year had to have been tough to deal with. Syuri, deciding to take a hiatus from STARDOM looked like it was going to be a big blow, especially right before the 5 Star where she should have definitely had a pretty good record, but with her recently showing up in AEW, maybe she’ll at least be given the chance to win quite a few matches while in America.

One thing that is looking up for the team though, is that his first pick overall Sareee has finally gotten herself into gear, leading the way for “God’s Sigh” this month with an impressive 26 points. We all know that Sareee is one of the best in the game, but sometimes she simply doesn’t work enough matches to score the amount of points you’d want from a pick so high in the draft. Maybe now she’ll be able to regularly hit that 20 point mark to make up for her slow start. The leader of H.A.T.E. Natsuko Tora picked up second place honors on the team with a nice tally of 17 points, and was followed closely behind by the likes of Syuri, Shoko Nakajima and Jaguar Yokota to round out the top five. Ryan picked up the WAVE veteran Yumi Ohka at the end of the month, and while she didn’t have time to score any points for the team, she did score 15 points last month as a free agent, so hopefully she’ll replicate that kind of performance now that her points will reflect on Ryan’s team total.

Ryan had eight wrestlers that weren’t on injured reserve score under ten points in the month of June including the likes of Ryo Mizunami, Rika Tatsumi, and Chi Chi. It was especially unfortunate that a wrestler the level of Emi Sakura ended up scoring zero points even though as far as I know she wasn’t injured or anything. Ryan needs more from his veteran talents who had been pretty good early in the season to get back to form, otherwise it’s going to be hard to make up the points to try to even catch sixth place.

The “big kaiju” Shoko Nakajima is currently leading the way overall for the team with 93 points which is a pretty awesome total for a TJPW wrestler. Obviously that’s been helped a bit by her appearances in America which included picking up a title in MLW, but also from being one half of the Princess Tag Team champions in TJPW. Syuri is sitting in second place on the team with 84 points, but then there’s a pretty big drop down to the next best wrestler in Natsuko Tora and Sareee who are both sitting at 66 points.

CURRENT POINTS

Shoko Nakajima – 93 Points (15)

Syuri – 84 Points (16)

Sareee – 66 Points (26)

Natsuko Tora – 66 Points (17)

For a team coming into the month of June in ninth place, Alex’s team actually had a pretty good month, tying for fourth best in the league for monthly points with the second place team “Oedo Tai.” It’s obviously been a tough season overall for Alex, but not all is lost as Alex has also been one of the most active managers when it comes to roster moves, and their team always seems one or two moves away from really making some noise in the league. If Alex and their team can put together another few solid months of scoring, there’s still a chance that they could climb their way away from the bottom.

For the second month in a row PURE-J’s Leon lead the way for “Alex’s Warbitches” scoring a pretty good 22 points. Maybe the warm weather has energized the long time veteran, because she’s been picking up more and more wins every month it seems. It also doesn’t hurt having a tag team championship to defend as well. There was only one other wrestler on the team who scored more than 15 points this month, which was Hina who scored 16. The current Future of Stardom champion has been very good in her defenses thus far in the year, and hopefully if she holds the title through the end of the year, she’ll be able to improve that point total even more.

A lot of the usual suspects were down towards the bottom of the team in points scored this month, however it had to be a bit frustrating to see wrestlers like YuuRi and DASH Chisako down there, because you’ve come to expect more out of them this year considering both of them have passed the 70 point mark. Yuki Arai is still quite a disappointment as she’s yet to get the proverbial rocket strapped to her back in TJPW this year, which we all kind of expected to happen with her giving up her idol duties. Maybe she’ll pick up the Princess of Princess championship like expected during the month of July, which will not only give her an extra ten points, but also give her a bit of a boost in her winning percentage.

Manami Katsu is still leading the way for the team in overall points for the year with 97, and while Leon currently sits in second place with 87 points. I’m sure if you asked most of the members of the league at the start of the year if those two wrestlers would be sitting at the total they are at currently, you would have gotten a lot of “no” answers, so they’ve truly been a wonderful surprise. The fact that Katsu was one of Alex’s earliest picks means that they must have seen something in her that many others didn’t. Now Alex just needs to find a few more diamonds in the rough to help grow their team’s point total.

CURRENT POINTS

Manami Katsu – 97 Points (13)

Leon – 87 Points (22)

It was quite a rough month for Fernando and “Casa Royale” as they had the second worst point total for the month, only finishing one point ahead of the team that’s been in last place for most of the year “Fart Editing.” Fernando’s team isn’t poorly put together per say but unfortunately there haven’t been any wrestlers who have been big time standouts to lead the way. Maybe that could turn around at the year goes on, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

There were three wrestlers who scored 15 or more points this month, but unfortunately the top wrestler only scored 16, so that’s lets you know where the two behind her stand as well. Mika Iwata was the leader this month with the aforementioned 16 points, enjoying her time as the Sendai Girls Tag Team champion along with her partner Miyuki Takase. Behind her was Mei Suruga and Miyu Yamashita who both scored 15 points, showing that they had a decent month, but nothing spectacular.

There were 12 wrestlers who scored ten points or less this month which is literally everyone other than the three wrestlers mentioned in the paragraph above. That’s not the type of output you want if you’re trying to gain ground on the teams ahead of you, and it’s the biggest reason why the team fell from seventh to ninth. Two of the team’s strongest performers for the year Koguma and Tae Honma both were amongst that bottom 12 teams, and will be looking for a bit of a rebound in the month of July, though Koguma is already off to a poor start by not being announced for the 5 Star.

This year has been a rough one for “Casa Royale” but the team is within striking distance of the two teams directly in front of them in the standings. It will take quite a bit to get to sixth place at this point in time, but if Fernando can maybe make a move or two, he might be able to give his team a kickstart to move up the standings. Mei Suruga is currently leading the way for the team in total points, and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon.

The struggles continue for Hart and his team as they once again finished at the bottom of the league in points this month. While the team is interestingly put together, you wouldn’t think that they’d struggle quite as much as they have this year. It was a gamble to take two wrestlers who you knew would retired before the half way mark of the year, but Hart was also able to get quite a few points from them during that time, it’s just that when it came to picking up free agents, there wasn’t anyone left who could make that type of impact in replacement. While the team is definitely behind the eight ball to say the least, there is still time to try to reel in a few of the teams ahead of them, because trying to get up to first is pretty much an impossible feat at this moment in time.

Hart had two wrestlers score more than 15 points this month, with the the best of the two being YUU who will be retiring at the end of the year, but until then, should get quite a few points. Her 26 points total was good enough for fifth place in the league, but unfortunately there weren’t a lot of other wrestlers on the roster who could follow up that kind of performance with a lot of points themselves. The only other wrestler who was even anywhere close was Risa Sera who scored an impressive 18 points even as she moves towards retirement at the start of next year herself.

Other than the one wrestler who has been on injured reserve the entire year so far, there were ten wrestlers who scored single digit points during the month of June on “Fart Editing.” Hart’s first round draft pick Miu Watanabe has continued to struggle this year when it comes to scoring points, only picking up six in the month of June. Hart also didn’t get much from Raku, Lady C and Bozilla who had all been putting up pretty good point totals up until this point in the year. Hopefully with Bozilla now being in STARDOM full time, she’ll get ample opportunities to pick up wins, which will in turn help her score quite a few points.

After having to drop his former points scoring leader Nanae Takahashi, Risa Sera has taken the mantle as the top point scorer for the team this year with 89, which is pretty good, but not what you want from your highest scoring wrestler. YUU has been having a good year ever since she took her hiatus earlier in the year, and there’s a good chance she’ll even pass Risa Sera over the next few months for overall point total as she sits at 76 at the moment. We’ll have to see the band of misfits are able to surprise us with having some big months as the year goes on to really make it a battle for ninth or above.

FREE AGENTS

When it comes to free agents for the month of June there were two wrestlers who stood out from the rest of the pack with them both scoring 16 points a piece. One of those wrestlers might have been somewhat surprising as “Wakamania” was running wild with Waka Tsukiyama putting together a very strong month, especially as a wrestler who doesn’t normally get booked all that strongly. The other wrestler who stood at the top was Tsubasa Kuragaki, one half of the Oz Academy Tag Team champions with Kohaku. A few other wrestlers who had a decent month was Madeline who scored 12 points, and three wrestlers who tied with 11 points a piece: Arisa Shinose, Mio Shirai and Megumi Yabushita.
