AWG was at 176BOX in Osaka with another round of ACT Game in the main event. Mari put Togi through a trial, Nagisa and Nene rekindled their feud, and Asako tried to torment ACT yet again. Here is a recap of the previous ACTWrestling show that is narrated by the King herself, Sakura Mizushima.

To watch this show and many others in their vast archive, go to AWG Nets. It’s 1,000 yen per month with a very quick and easy sign-up process.

Before their show in Osaka AWG were guests on the Never Say Never – Tomoko Watanabe First Produced Event at Shinjuku Face. The crew filled up half the card with their special brand of action entertainment. This is another outside collaboration as they recently appeared in a STARDOM ring for the Natsu Saory Produce. The company has been spreading out and in the process, new fans are being exposed to a company that usually exists in a closed ecosystem.

Naru & Natsuki vs. Rico Fukunaga & Yukina Uehara

For an introduction of AWG to new fans this was a strong choice, Naru and Natsuiki are the dazzling main players, while Rico is really getting close to that herself. Uehara will always make a strong impression so it was a no-brainer to include the super rookie.

Sakura Mizushima vs. Marino Saihara

Champion against champion and a grand way to showcase the roster on a new stage. Mizushima got the victory, and that helps her and the King belt look strong. Marino lost nothing here, as she is still the AWG Champion and looked awesome in Shinjuku Face.

The following are some impressions from that afternoon at 176BOX.

Mari vs. Nanami Togi

Survival was the key and, realistically, the only goal for Togi in this match; she accomplished it. Mari gleefully destroyed Togi in a fairly one-sided fight, at points even pulling up Togi to stop the ref’s count.

It was apparent that there is a chasm between the two, but Togi has to endure these types of matches to get better and eventually close the gap. To her credit, she started kicking out, and Mari had to keep her down with a nasty Buzz Saw kick to the face. If hardship builds character, Togi is carrying around a lot more now.

ACT & Ayano Irie vs. Asako Mia & Erisa Nagai

Asako was Asako, and maybe Erisa began to question if she wanted to be a member of the Asako Army after all. Act was fantastic as the serious veteran who merely put up with the craziness from Asako before beating her up. Erisa and Ayano worked well against each other.

Asako matches are better appreciated by watching as opposed to reading about them. Ayano won with the Teardrop Angel.

Anri & Natsuki vs. Rio & Yukina Uehara

Anri was so impressive early on that it’s easy to forget how new to ACTwrestling she really is. She clearly is driven to be one of the best, and her frustration at being a rookie is part of her story.

When you compare Natsuki in 2025 to 2024, it really hammers home the fact that one year can be transformative for a person. She is the Ace, and fans haven’t even seen the best version of Natsuki yet.

Rio pummeled Natsuki with devastating chops while Uehara had wicked kick battles with both Natsuki and Anri. The match finished when ANRI pulled off an avalanche or earthquake splash off the top rope onto Uehara.

Nene Arahata vs. Nagisa Shiotsuki

Aggression and outright hatred spilling out of the rivalry. They immediately turned this into a brawl. That territory is usually reserved for MARU, but it makes sense that neither cared about competition and just wanted to attack.

Nene has been getting the better of Nagisa, and that’s exactly what Nagisa is going to need to evolve. The two champions need to be keeping an eye on Nene, as she has quite the run building and will likely be soon making a claim for one of their belts. Nagisa needs to channel that fire into every show. It appears she has a career rival now, which is refreshing in that more of the roster have stories, something for fans to invest in.

After they struggled with keeping each other down, Nene hit a brainbuster and got the pin. They are not far apart in skill, as Nagisa kicked out at about 3.1, so this is just another chapter.

Naru & Sakura Mizushima vs. Marino Saihara & Rico Fukunaga (ACT Game Second Round Point Tag Team Match)

Marino and Rico may have surprised people with their performances in the tournament. Rico no longer feels like someone visiting main events for experience; she is beginning to feel like she belongs there.

Mizushima and Naru are great and have complementary flashy styles, and coupled with being a bit small, they make a good scrappy underdog tag team. The members of the Actress 5 unit are fierce competitors and did not hold back against each other. Marino as champion is evolving on each show; she pulled out a jumping knee strike (V-trigger style) before hitting the bridging German suplex. Another good tournament match.

A year or so after forming, Actress 5 has become a very strong unit. Yui joined the other 4, and they all posed to close out the show. The tournament continues; Rico is on her way to becoming an important player, Nagsia is getting closer thanks to Nene, and Togi’s journey continues. AWG has two strong champions, and the addition of the tag belts is going to make things more robust.
