AWG was in Kamata at the Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO Small Exhibition Hall for an edition of ACTwrestling. Marino Saihara put the AWG Title on the line against Haruka Ishikawa in the main event. Manatsu no Shiokaze went against Yukina Uehara and Toiro Hina in the latest round of the ACT Game.
If you are just checking out this company after seeing Actress Time at Stardom for the Natsu & Saory produce, then there is a list of show reviews here at RESURA to check out, and even special interviews such as the Time Machine Girl film review that features AWG.
To see this show and more, go to AWG Nets, which you can subscribe to here for roughly 1,000 yen a month, or you can opt for the YouTube membership.
The most recent King of Entertainment Title match is available free on the AWG YouYube channel. You can see two exciting roster members Sakura Mizushima and Rico Fukunaga have a can’t miss match here:
Ayano Irie vs. Chii Aoba
Chii is really becoming a staple of these solid opening matches. She has become quite the well-rounded performer, with some strong special moves. Chii is an interesting character who has a lot more personality and story to tell; she’s in a good spot this year.
Ayano pretty much dominated this match and was almost toying with Chii. Anytime that she would get the advantage, Ayano gleefully cut her off as if to remind everyone how much of a gap there is between the two performers. Chii is getting there, and that gap is getting narrower every month. Ayano ended it with the Teardrop Angel for the three-count.
Worth nothing that Asako Mia was the ring announcer for the show and did a stellar job.
Mari & Ninja Girl URAN vs. Kyoka Iwai & Nene Arahata
Two ninjas having to try and coexist was the situation for this tag team bout. Kyoka and Nene were also not in the mood to go easy on fellow Killer’Z member Mari. URAN has a lot in common with one of Mari’s other tag partners, Naru, so when they could set aside their ninja rivalry, they actually were a good team.
Nene landed a delayed brainbuster and pinned URAN. Fun match.

MARU & Rio vs. Rico Fukunaga & Sakura Mizushima
Rio continues to work with the Killer’Z and is quickly becoming a problem for the AWG roster. Mizushima was reliving this problem the moment the bell rang, and Rio almost put her through the mat with a shoulder block; however, the King did a kip-up and attempted to brush it off.
In the very near future, when Rio starts adding more to her repertoire, it’s going to be a tough road for her opponents; she already has the athletic gifts to call upon to help offset her inexperience. Maru and Rico rekindled their feud, so that was a nice bonus here. Rico has had a string of strong performances. The last 3 or 4 months have practically been a highlight reel with her fights with Maru and the King title shot against Mizushima.
Rio did get outsmarted by Mizushima, who used her speed to overwhelm the rookie. A crossbody off the top rope is how Mizushima got the pinfall on Rio.
Nagisa Shiotsuki & Natsuki vs. Toiro Hina & Yukina Uehara
ACT Game First Round Point Tag Team Match
What a showing Natsuki and Yukina had at the recent Natsu & Saory produce show! That match wasn’t covered in the previous review, but it was nearly a pitch-perfect introduction for new fans. ACT and Mari were fantastic; Mari herself may be someone fans were unfamiliar with. However, Natsuki was an absolute star, and Yukina definitely shined too. Naru getting flipped was the icing on the cake; a short clip of that move is really all any potential new fan would need to understand AWG in 2025. Natsuki picked up the win, and then she and Yukina had a stare-down with Natsupoi and Saori.
Back to the Kamata, Manatsu no Shiokaze came out slapping hands with everyone at ringside in typical high-energy fashion. Uehara already feels like a long-standing member of the roster and not someone who debuted at the end of 2024. Hina has only had a handful of matches, so understandably she is a bit of a question mark. She does have fighting spirit and an arsenal of dropkicks that she unleashed on Natsuki and Nagisa. Manatsu no Shiokaze are becoming masters of tag team wrestling, and this match was no different. They know when to utilize tandem moves, exploit the five-count with frequent tags, and are incredibly hard to pin with dramatic split-second saves. Natsuki caught Hina in a Cutie Special for the win, and Manatsu no Shiokaze advanced in the ACT Game.

Marino Saihara vs. Haruka Ishikawa – AWG Title Point Match
An all-out battle and a wonderful main event with the fighting champion Marino against the unhinged Ishikawa.
Over the last year, Ishikawa was a shining light on ACTwrestling shows; she became a member of Killer’Z and became a screaming power fighter. Marino has the attitude of being champion locked down at this point and makes each of her fights feel special. They began by just staring each other down before quickly shifting into a high gear that never relented. It spilled out onto the floor, but Ishikawa was countered by Marino, who has made brawling around the arena her specialty. They beat the hell out of one another, and the match was a mean hoss battle as Ishikawa hit a Vader Bomb and countless brutal sentons. Marino landed multiple kicks and kept going for submissions to counteract Ishikawa’s fury. The champion blasted Ishikawa with a bridging German suplex to get the three-count and retain the AWG Title.
The match was under 10 minutes and was all killer and no filler. It didn’t need to be a 20-minute epic; the two of them went full throttle, and it was realistic that something that violent would end so quickly. Ishikawa is an MVP and should be in more big matches (her theater work schedule has precluded her from always participating).
She and Marino shook hands afterwards because they knew they nailed it with a great match and showed respect to each other. Marino closed the show, and another very good show is in the books for AWG.
The company is not overbooking and has found notable things for everyone on the roster to do. The tag division will soon have titles to chase, so there is a lot to get invested in. Events clocking in around an hour and forty minutes also allow AWG to be an easy investment within a crowded wrestling scene. Ishikawa showed interest in the King title, and Mizushima may have her strongest challenger yet if that happens. ACT The game will continue throughout July on the road to August Korakuen, and the roster is improving every show.
